We’re excited to introduce “Candy in the Park,” an opportunity for residents to bring together the spirit of trick-or-treating and the joy of community bonding.
We understand that some homes or apartments might not receive many trick-or-treaters, if at all. We are gauging interest if residents would like to participate in “Candy in the Park,” where residents who would like to participate can set up candy stations to give out treats in a more public area.
On October 28th, during trick-or-treat, the Borough would coordinate with residents to set up in the park to give out candy during Trick-or-Treat. Residents would be encouraged to decorate their candy stations. Think of it as a trunk-or-treat without the cars!
If you’re interested in participating, RSVP by October 1st by filling out the form below. If we see enough interest from the community, we’ll proceed with organizing and promoting the event. Please spread the word to your neighbors, friends, and family so we can all provide a safe and public area for residents and treaters to participate.
