The Borough of East Washington now provides residents with a more convenient location to recycle glass. The glass dumpster is available at the Public Works Salt lot off of East Beau Street from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Saturday. Stream Cleanup Day Event was a Great Success!
This morning the Borough held a much-needed stream cleanup event to remove trash in and around the creek that flows through the Borough. We had many great volunteers who managed to clean out a massive amount of garbage in two hours. Two shopping carts, 6 car tires, chairs, and numerous garbage bags full of plastic bottles were removed. Faith Christian School Flashing Light Project
On Monday, March 22, 2021, a ceremony was held for the construction of the Faith Christian School flashing light project. Mayor Mike Gomber took the initial step to commemorate the community safety project with the initial groundbreaking as a symbolic gesture. With the weather slowly changing to snow this week Monday, November 30th will be the last day for collecting leaves.
