The Borough of East Washington now provides residents with a more convenient location to recycle glass. The glass dumpster is available at the Public Works Salt lot off of East Beau Street from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Saturday. Garden Award and Dedication
Residents Jonna and John Murphy won a blue ribbon from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society garden contest earlier this spring. The Murphys dedicated their garden to the memory of East Washington resident Nicholas Cumer, who was killed in 2019 in a mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio.
