Discussion & Updates
- Retain Current Council President – Discussion to change. A motion was made by Doug Corwin, second Demond Nixon to keep Maryann Weinstein as President through December 31, 2021, at which time her term ends. A unanimous yes vote was passed.
Official Action:
- Council Appointment – A motion was made by Joe Fulton, second Demond Nixon to appoint Kris LaGreca as Council Member to fill the remaining term of Tim Hurney through the 1st Monday of January 2022. – Motion passed.
- Road Projects – 2021 Independent Enterprises – Speed Humps. President Weinstein said she tried to contact Independent Enterprises via email and phone call and has not received a response from them concluding that they should not be recommended for the project. After a long discussion regarding what road (s) should be done in 2021, it was decided that President Weinstein contact Rich Rush to re-bid the exact projects as last year adding a couple of speed humps/bumps on South Wade.
Council agreed that a long term 5–10-year plan is necessary to address the roads in the borough. Council asked Dan Bird and Aaron Lucero to provide council with an update of the conditions of all roads in the borough at the next meeting.
- Cleaning Company – President Weinstein stated that Supportive Concepts Cleaning Company start date is February 1, 2021.

- Daniel Bird – Council discussed with Aaron Lucero snow removal backup plan. A motion was made by Kent James, second Doug Corwin to hire Garrett Hettman, contractor, at $30/hr. He will use our equipment, our salt and Mr. Hettman is to name the borough as an additional insured on his insurance. (provide borough with copy of insurance). – Motion passed.
