Mayor Gomber swore in new appointed Council Member, Matt Boice
Mayor Gomber presented the following certificates to recognize residents of East Washington Borough for their contributions to East Washington Borough:

Public Comment
David Kucherawy, 115 Wilmont Ave. Mr. Kucherawy is requesting permission to cut across the paper alley to remedy the water draining into his yard. He determined the owners of 401 Wade get the grass cut from an outside firm. Permission was granted by council.
Tom Shade 115 Christman. Mr. Shade was checking on the status of sewer storm water issue at his residence. What can be done with the sewer pipe and water under his driveway? Discussion continued:
Motion Cheryl Amodei-Mascara, second Matt Boice to authorize Widmer Engineering to inspect the common driveway at 107 -115 Christman Ave. and provide specifications to correct 107-115 storm water issue. Motion passed.
Mr. Shade also requested some reimbursement for repairs to his driveway.
Motion Cheryl Amodei-Mascara, second Matt Boice, to table this until all receipts and information is received by all of council for review. Also, Matt Boice suggested Council have an opportunity to review the engineering report and any other documentation, copies of invoices, photos, etc. before making a decision. Motion passed.
Reports
Secretary – Report on file in the office and reported on the real estate taxes collected to date and amount collected from Jordan Tax Service to date.
Public Works – Supervisor Aaron Lucero told council that the Agility Agreement was signed and picked up by Marty Rapsack, PENNDOT. Supervisor Aaron Lucero also asked council if there was a decision on the old yellow truck. After discussion regarding cost of repairs and advertising costs:
Motion Cheryl Amodei-Mascara, second Tamara Chacko to sell the old yellow truck as is for $ 999.00 to Rusty’s Towing. Motion passed.
Supervisor Aaron Lucero asked about repairing the roof over the garage. Council directed Supervisor Lucero to get bids and meet with roofing contractors to determine cost, materials and best way to repair the roof so council will not have to keep addressing the same issue.
Supervisor Lucero presented bids and information for getting a roof on the salt storage facility.
Motion Cheryl-Amodei Mascara, second Matthew Boice to authorize HLS Excavating to install a metal roof over the salt storage area at the cost of $2,318.00. Motion passed.
