Action Items/Discussion
- On a motion made by Dan Bird, seconded by Kent James Resolution 006 of 2022 – Setting Bond Amount of 30% of the Real Estate Tax Duplicate for Tax Collector, Dawn Petrosky was passed by unanimous vote. (Term Jan 1, 2022 through Dec 31, 2025) (Pro-rata share with the Washington School District)
- A motion was made by Demond Nixon, seconded by Kent James to add Greenways, Trail grant (Playground program) to the agenda. – Motion passed.
- When asked to review the site plan and information for the Playground program, Council Member Michael McCormick gave a brief talk on some areas of consideration. He indicated that the drawings need more information, so we get the best qualified bidders. Discussions included 2 accessible parking spaces, 6 regular spaces. Tree removal, possible paving material concrete vs asphalt for longevity.
- Dan Bird made a motion, seconded by Doug Corwin to change the parking lot configuration (as needed) to keep the maple tree intact. Motion passed by unanimous vote.
- Continuing, Dan Bird made a motion, seconded by Demond Nixon to request alternate bids for the material for the sidewalk. Concrete, asphalt, and recycled asphalt. Motion passed.
- On a motion made by Joe Fulton, seconded by Michael McCormick recommend choosing the natural color palette for the playground equipment. Motion passed by unanimous vote.
- Council Member Demond Nixon donated a charger to put in the back of the building to charge the Tesla Police car, noting it is for Borough Police use only.
