Lori Kolczynski, Republic Services – wanted to discuss the trash bid. President Weinstein explained that the trash bid is the first item on the agenda and will address it later.

Motion Michael McCormick, second Kris LaGreca to approve the minutes October 18, 2021, adding last name Wiseman to minutes and to note Kent James conducted this meeting. – Motion passed.

Motion Kris LaGreca, second Dan Bird to approve bill paid from ACT 12 Impact Fees in the amount of $48,200 (Check No.1005) -Tesla payment. – Motion passed.

Waste Hauler. Kent James made a motion seconded by Doug Corwin to accept the proposal from Republic Services for waste hauler services for the 2022-2023 term with an option to renew an additional year. Republic Services to provide the appropriate liability policies and execution of the agreement commensurate with the terms and conditions of the RFP. 6 yes votes Dan Bird – no. Motion passed.

2022 Budget – Kent James discussed changes to the 2022 budget. Kent James moved and seconded by Doug Corwin to advertise a tentative budget subject to annotations by the borough auditor. Authorize the secretary to advertise the budget after receiving the annotations from the Auditor. – Motion passed.

Communication Committee Update – Joe Fulton said emails are being transferred to Gmail. There are migration issues. Continue to work on the website.

External Storage – Joe Fulton discussed the need for external storage for files, and photos, etc. that are currently on his PC. As a result, Joe Fulton made a motion, seconded by Kris LaGreca to approve the purchase of a 4-terabyte external storage drive to transfer the documents stored on his computer to this storage device. Mr. Fulton is to return it to the borough in the event he chooses not to run for office again. The cost of the storage device is $87.00 – Motion passed.

Comcast Service Plan and Equipment – Joe Fulton met with the COMCAST technician and received quotes for 3 different plans of internet service from COMCAST. Joe recommended the middle 600-megabyte plan at a cost of $388.29 per month effective as soon as possible. The Plan bundle is for 2 years which includes internet, cable, and voice service. 6 yes votes, Kris LaGreca -no. – Motion passed.

Security Cameras. Kris LaGreca presented Council with information and pricing for security cameras for the borough building. There are 2 options. Hard wired and Solar Battery with cloud recording at $45.00 per year. President Weinstein felt it was important to get Chief David Bradley’s input regarding the security cameras. Mayor Nixon will discuss the security cameras with Chief David Bradley and provide an update at the next council meeting.

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2022 – Michael McCormick advised council that an eligible project for the 2022 Community Development Block Grant application would be curb ramp upgrades for ADA accessibility. Michael McCormick will send his list of curb ramp locations to council for review. Joe Fulton suggested other possibilities to submit would be adding lights and electricity to the park pavilion.
