On Monday, February 5th, the Borough Council accepted David Bradley’s resignation as Chief for the Borough of East Washington Police. Chief Bradley served and protected East Washington for twenty-four years. In 2015, he was appointed as the Chief of Police but sustained an injury in 2022.
In recognition of his unwavering commitment, Mayor Demond Nixon made a proclamation expressing the Borough’s gratitude and deep appreciation for the service of David Bradley in his dedicated service to the Borough of East Washington and the East Washington police department.
The Borough Council unanimously voted to appoint Tim Kreger from Acting Chief to Chief of the East Washington Police Department. Chief Kreger is a seasoned professional with an extensive background currently serving as a sheriff for Washington County.
As part of the proclamation, Mayor Nixon asks that all residents show their appreciation and thank Chief Bradley for all he has sacrificed and accomplished for the Borough of East Washington. We wish Dave Bradley the best as he moves to his next endeavor.
