On December 19th East Washington Mayor Michael Gomber held a private ceremony at Memorial Park for fallen East Washington Police Officer John David Dryer. Gomber stated, “This day never gets easier, but I ask on the 9th anniversary of Dave’s death please keep his family and other fallen police officer’s families in your prayers.” Gomber went on to say that, ” community donations made it possible to purchase a (memorial) bench and with the help of East Washington Council, the project is finally complete.” Due to the Covid 19 outbreak, a public ceremony will be held at a later date.
