The dry summer has resulted in East Washington trees shedding their leaves early before the Fall season. Public Works’ annual leaf pick-up does not begin until mid to late October. Please do not blow your leaves into the street at this time. They will not be picked up and can clog the stormwater inlets.

We ask residents to please bag your leaves for now. Republic, our trash collector, will take bagged yard waste or, if necessary, you can call the borough (Aaron 724-797-5698) and ask to have your bags picked up. East Washington will announce the dates later next month for leaf pick-up.
