On Saturday, April 16 East Washington Police Chief David Bradley was called to a domestic incident on North Ave which resulted in a vehicular pursuit. With backup from other local police departments, the suspect was pursued on route 19 north and into the parking lot of the Walmart plaza. The suspect’s vehicle collided with the East Washington police cruiser. The suspect then fled on foot and was apprehended by supporting officers. There was minor damage to the East Washington police car. However, in the collision Chief Bradley suffered a fractured vertebrae. I wish to thank the Chief for his quick response to this call and wish him well in his recovery.
