April 1st is National Census Day. We encourage you to complete your 2020 Census today. By now every home should have received an invitation to participate in the 2020 Census. You can respond in one of three ways: online, by phone (844-330-2020), or by mail. When you respond to the census, you’ll tell the Census Bureau where you live as of April 1, 2020. Census Day is the key reference date that helps ensure everyone is counted just once. But as you know, the 2020 Census is more than a population count; it’s an opportunity to shape the future of our community. Even without an invitation to respond, everyone can complete the 2020 Census online at 2020Census.gov or via phone at 844-330-2020.

As you can see, East Washington is falling behind the average compared to the State. We can do better!
The current COVID-19 situation has put a pause operations includes the front-door delivery of an invitation to respond to the Census to homes that receive U.S. mail at a P.O. Box; a phase initially scheduled to occur from March 29 – May 1.
Take the time today to respond to the Census. Complete the 2020 Census online at 2020Census.gov or via phone at 844-330-2020.
