On November 7th, Borough Council appointed Timothy Scott Kregar as acting Chief of Police to manage and oversee the activities and operations of the East Washington Borough Police Department. Officer Kregar will fulfill the position while Chief Dave Bradley is out on medical leave from an incident on April 16th. The Borough looks forward to Chief Kregar’s leadership and wishes Chief Bradley well during his recovery.
Message from Chief Kregar to Borough Residents:
I would like to thank our elected officials of East Washington Borough and Chief David Bradley for affording me the opportunity to serve as Acting Chief of Police.
I am blessed to have served the citizens of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the past 32 years as a Law Enforcement Officer. Our mission at East Washington Police Department moving forward will be to build upon the traditions of service and sacrifice that Chief Bradley has established.
At East Washington Police Department our vision is to provide the highest level of public services, to strengthen our community bonds by allowing all our citizenry a voice in their police department, and to defend and protect all who live, work, visit or study within our borough.
It is our solemn duty at East Washington Police Department to place the health and welfare of all above that of ourselves.
