At the February Council Meeting, Borough Council appointed East Washington resident Susan Cottrill to fill the 2-year vacant seat on Borough Council. Susan will fulfill the remaining term that expires on the first Monday of January 2026. Following the vote, Mayor Demond Nixon swore-in Ms. Cottrill to begin her council duties.
