Demond Nixon Sworn In as the New Mayor of East Washington
On Thursday, April 22nd Councilman Demond Nixon was sworn in as the new Mayor of East Washington. Mr. Nixon was appointed unanimously by Council following the resignation of Michael Gomber, fulfilling his remaining term through the first Monday of January 2022.
