The Borough extends a heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who participated in our annual Neighborhood Clean-Up Day in celebration of Earth Day. On Saturday, volunteers worked hard to remove trash and debris from the stream and our neighborhood streets. The Parks and Shade Committee also raked leaves and pulled weeds at Nicholas Cumer Park, Memorial Park, and around the Borough sign.
In addition, the Parks and Shade Committee painted our new planter, which will cover the pipe used for the holiday tree during the off-season. Special thanks to the Cumer family for planting flowers and to Aaron Lucero for building the planter.
This year marked the fifth Neighborhood Clean-Up effort coordinated by the Borough. We are deeply grateful to the following volunteers who dedicated their Saturday morning to making our community a cleaner, more beautiful place:
